LotShift Privacy Notice

  The short version: LotShift stores your data securely on our servers. Your customer data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Each user's data is isolated to their account. You can delete your data at any time.

1. What LotShift Is

LotShift is a web-based sales intelligence platform that helps automotive sales professionals analyze CRM data, generate customer communications, and manage deal flow. It is accessed through your web browser at app.lotshift.io.

2. What Data LotShift Processes

When you use LotShift, it processes the following types of information from your CRM:

Customer contact information — names, phone numbers, and email addresses as they appear in your CRM
Vehicle interest data — vehicles of interest, trade-in information, and purchase history
Communication history — records of emails, texts, and phone calls logged in your CRM
Deal status data — lead source, pipeline stage, and activity timestamps

LotShift does not collect biometric data, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or driver's license numbers.

3. Where Data Is Stored

All data processed by LotShift is stored on secure servers operated by LotShift. Specifically:

Customer data is stored in your account and is not accessible by other users
Generated messages and drafts are stored in your account until you copy them to your CRM
Configuration and preferences are stored per-user
No data is sold to or shared with third-party services, advertisers, or data brokers

4. Message Generation

LotShift uses AI-powered analysis to help generate draft customer communications. All generated messages are drafts for your review — LotShift never sends communications to customers automatically. You always review and approve any message before sending it through your CRM.

5. What LotShift Does NOT Do

Does not sell, rent, or share customer data with any third party
Does not display advertising or use data for ad targeting
Does not track your usage with third-party analytics services
Does not access your CRM through unauthorized APIs or automated scraping
Does not store passwords or CRM login credentials

6. Data Deletion

You can delete all customer data at any time through the Settings page in your LotShift account. Deletion is permanent and removes all customer records, messages, inventory, and learning data from your account.

7. Who Has Access

Only you can access data in your LotShift account, protected by your username and optional PIN. Administrator users can view system health and user activity logs but cannot access individual customer records belonging to other users.

8. Dealership Data Policies

LotShift operates within your existing CRM authorization. The customer data you import into LotShift is the same data you are already authorized to view and use in your CRM. LotShift does not grant access to any data beyond what your CRM credentials already permit.

9. Changes to This Notice

If LotShift's data handling practices change, this privacy notice will be updated and users will be notified before any changes take effect.
